The Golden Gate Chapter (GGC) of the Vintage Volkswagen Club of America will be sponsoring the 16th Solvang VW Veteranentreffen Weekend on September 23, 24, and 25 in Solvang, CA. Friday evening, from 6 pm to 9 pm, Wolfsburg West will be hosting a "Meet and Greet" social hour at the Svensgaard's Danish Lodge, 1711 Mission Dr. in Solvang (across the street from Mission Santa Ines). Wolfsburg West will be providing pizza, soft drinks, and water which will be served outside by the pool and in the lobby. You may bring your own beer but there is no glass allowed in the pool area. Saturday will be the car show and swap meet held at the Santa Ines Mission located at 1760 Mission Drive in Solvang from 8am to 3pm. No pre-registration required, just show up. Saturday evening there will be a RESERVATIONS-ONLY dinner at the Pea Soup Andersen's Restaurant in Buellton. There will be no dinner Saturday night at Pea Soup Anderson's due to lack of staff. We have no dinner venue, so for those who are interested, we will gather at the Copenhagen Sausage Garden in Solvang at 7 pm.
